Which teams have the inside track to the Super Bowl?
Sports betting fans are already talking about the Super Bowl, but who has the inside track right now? Let's examine the two best records in the NFC and two best records in the AFC so we can dissect each team's perks and flaws. Then you can think about your Super Bowl picks for northbet.com sportsbook.

NEW ORLEANS SAINTS

What to like: The offense is nearly unstoppable. We've all known about Drew Brees for years, but now he's complimented by a brilliant running game that ranks fifth in the NFL.

What to hate: The defense. It started strongly and many thought Gregg Williams had turned this unit around, but they're being absolutely destroyed on the ground right now.

Prognosis: The run "D" is a big concern. If that isn't fixed, there are too many teams in the NFC (i.e. the Vikings) that can take advantage.

MINNESOTA VIKINGS

What to like: Brett Favre has 17 touchdowns to just three interceptions. Adrian Peterson may be the best running back in the NFL. The defense leads the league in sacks.

What to hate: To be honest, not much. There are very few holes here. If this team can stay healthy—a big if with 40-year-old Favre at the helm—it's got the best shot in the NFC to win it all.

Prognosis: Watch out, the Vikings mean business.

INDIANAPOLIS COLTS

What to like: Peyton Manning. He's having another banner campaign; last week he led the Colts to a comeback victory over New England despite a brutal performance by his young receiving corps.

What to hate: There's no running game to speak of, meaning Manning has nowhere to turn when the rookies struggle. The secondary is awfully banged up too.

Prognosis: Their chances remain excellent. Manning is so good the running game doesn't matter and, with a great head start on the pack, there's lots of time for the secondary to heal up for playoffs.

CINCINNATI BENGALS

What to like: The defense is establishing itself as one of the best units in the league. The Bengals are second against the run and have two excellent young corners in Leon Hall and Jonathan Joseph.

What to hate: Carson Palmer isn't what he used to be, so the passing game could use a little more pop. That's troubling since Cedric Benson hurt his hip this week.

Prognosis: The "D" is legit, but Cincy needs Benson healthy to have a chance. Without him, these guys won't score enough points to keep up with the Colts.
